Fluegasms.

Be still my beating heart. These 40th anniversary re-issues captured me. I had a dream about them and that week, I decided to get them. Truly Fluegasm-worthy.

In Shirley’s bio, she mentions that when Vog shopping, if she runs into a pair that ignites a Fluegasm, it’s fate’s way to saying she needs to get the shoe. That excitement is better than any shoegasm a gal could have. It’s a Fluegasm. In case you’re wondering, a Fluegasm is as follows:

Fluegasm: the most intense point during Fluevog shopping/browsing excitement. Such excitement is characterized by: (1) extremely pleasurable sensations pulsating through one’s body while experiencing Fluevogs (2) the inherent need to jump, dance, and prance around after discovering yet another amazing pair of shoes (3) at the highest point of violently intense elation, one decides to indeed, go home with a new pair (or two) of shoes.

Don’t take my word for it. Have you tried on a pair of Fluevogs lately?

  1. I could not agree with you more! I had a Fluegasm when j tried these on also in the Algery Grey. That bronzy gold in these Munsters did me inn;). Just last week I experienced another Fluegasm as I re-tried the green and black Mini Hotcakes! Shhhhhheeessh… I could not stop thinking about these after seeing them on one of the acresses on that Syfy show Haven. Jordan is her name, and she is an avid Fluevoger like us. So far I have seen her wear: black volunteer boots, black starboards, and fhe mini hotcakes! Had to have me some too:)

    • I’m with you. While I love it, I can’t stand the over abundance of Fluegasms I experience when I go to the store! As I’ve said before, I LOVE the Hotcakes! In fact, I’ll be working on a post about trying on the Hotcakes. The Manpanion was with me. Let’s just say that HE was the one who had the Fluegasm that day. It was like watching Ralphie caress that leg lamp on “A Christmas Story.”

  2. OMG…I looove your blog, I can´t keep from visiting it at least once a day! I also have a fashion blog, I´ll leave the link here in case you want to have look and see how much you inspire me on my posts! Kisses

  3. i agree with this as well! love that the “climax” part is actually deciding to buy the shoes! my first shoegasm ever was a fluegasm (i didn’t have a name for it then), on my first trip to the fluevog store on melrose. i fell in love with the red operetta giulias and didn’t want to take them off. i was hot and bothered and perspiring like crazy as well as prancing around in the shoes. since i had no idea what was going on with me, i didn’t listen to my fluegasm and decided to take home the black malibrans instead (i came into the store looking for interview shoes). a week later i was back to exchange the unworn malibrans for the giulias (i did eventually get the malibrans later).

    • Oh Gladys. I am honored to note that I was present for your FIRST FlueBalls experience. It was when you placed your tiny feet into the Dollface – minis. I knew you’d be hooked. However, I can’t be responsible for the addiction. (But I will live up to my “pusher” reputation.)
